Care guide

To ensure that your metal signs maintain their quality and appearance for years to come, please follow these care instructions:

1. Cleaning:

• Regularly clean your metal signs with a soft cloth or sponge and mild soap and water solution.
• Do not use cleaning sprays (such s Spay & Wipe), scouring pads, or harsh chemicals as they may scratch or damage the surface of the metal and powder coat paint finish (Black and Surfmist finishes)

2. Drying:

• After cleaning, thoroughly dry the metal signage with a clean, dry soft microfibre cloth or glass polishing cloth to prevent water spots or streaks from forming.

3. Outdoor use:

• The signs have been designed for Indoor use only. We cannot warrant their use in in external environments.

4. Mounting:

• When mounting your metal signs, refer to our installation guide to ensure that they are securely fastened to the mounting surface to prevent accidents or damage to the signage.

5. Storage:

• If you need to store your metal signs for an extended period, keep them packaged as you received them, between sheets of tissue paper in a clean, dry, and climate-controlled environment.

6. Avoiding Damage:

• Handle the signs with care to prevent dropping or knocking them against hard surfaces as they can scratch and dent.

7. Brass signage:

• Our brass signage range has been sealed with a clear sealer however with excessive cleaning this can wear off over time and may expose the brass to age. Cleaning with water only and a microfibre cloth will help to ensure the sealer remains in place as long as possible.
