Care guide

To ensure that your metal signs maintain their quality and appearance for years to come, please follow these care instructions:

1. Cleaning:

• Regularly clean your metal signs with a soft cloth or sponge and mild soap and water solution.
• Do not use cleaning sprays (such s Spay & Wipe), scouring pads, or harsh chemicals as they may scratch or damage the surface of the metal and powder coat paint finish (Black and Surfmist finishes)

2. Drying:

• After cleaning, thoroughly dry the metal signage with a clean, dry soft microfibre cloth or glass polishing cloth to prevent water spots or streaks from forming.

3. Brass signage:

• Our brass signage range is a raw finish which due to environmental factors may tarnish or patina over time. Weekly cleaning as noted above should prevent this. However if tarnishing occurs please spot clean the tarnished area gently following the grain of the metal with Silvo (not Brasso) and a soft microfibre cloth. Finish by cleaning with Mister Sheen or cleaning as per the above cleaning instructions.

4. Outdoor use:

• The signs have been designed for Indoor use only. We cannot warrant their use in in external environments.

5. Mounting:

• When mounting your metal signs, refer to our installation guide to ensure that they are securely fastened to the mounting surface to prevent accidents or damage to the signage.

6. Storage:

• If you need to store your metal signs for an extended period, keep them packaged as you received them, between sheets of tissue paper in a clean, dry, and climate-controlled environment.

7. Avoiding Damage:

• The signs have been carefully checked prior to shipping. Please handle the signs with care when unwrapping and installing to prevent scratching and denting. Dropping or knocking them against hard surfaces may cause the signs to scratch and dent.
